To test the reliability of our software OCAS, we compare the results obtained using OCAS and 2 other software, 1) the widely used Automated Mass spectral Deconvolution and Identification System (AMDIS) and 2) an open source software. Firstly, we uploaded the same GC-MS data to all 3 software. Analyzing the TIC time range of 16.806s to 16.966s, we obtained the results from all the software and made a comparison in the table below. The results clearly show that OCAS provides the user with accurate and precise information of the deconvoluted peaks. Furthermore, OCAS is the only software which is able to provide an estimation of the concentration profile of the deconvoluted peaks.
*Results do not match well with NIST library.
