1) Open the <\/span>Agilent GC-MS data reading software (<\/span>DataAnalysis)\u00a0and the following screen will appear.\u00a0Choose “File”\u00a0<\/strong>from the top\u00a0menu. Select “Export Data to AIA the format…<\/strong>” from the dropdown menu.\u00a0<\/span>The system of help illustrate, the AIA format is the CDF format.<\/p>\n

*According to the Agilent User Guide, “Export Data to AIA Format<\/strong>” allows you to\u00a0save the data in the AIA format, which is equivalent to the CDF format used by our software. The AIA format is the industry standard for the exchange of mass spectral and GC data between the data systems of various manufacturers.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Convert<\/p>\n

2) You will receive the following prompt from the system on\u00a0the export destination. You\u00a0can choose to\u00a0<\/span>1) Create\u00a0a New Directory<\/strong><\/span>, or <\/span>2) Use an Existing Directory<\/strong>\u00a0to save the exported data<\/span>. Please select one to proceed.<\/span><\/p>\n

3) Once the directory selection is completed, a new dialog box, as follows, will appear. With the button “Change Path<\/strong>”\u00a0select the directory containing your data \u201c.D\u201d. Next, on the bottom left of the dialog box, you can select the data\u00a0file(s)\u00a0which you wish to be exported, and click the button <\/span>. You can select multiple data to export. Once the selection is complete, click the \u00a0button to export\u00a0the data in\u00a0AIA format.<\/span><\/p>\n

4) The export of the data will be completed.\u00a0You will see the exported data in .CDF format in the directory which you have selected previously. Upload this file to our OCAS software to kickstart your chemical analysis online<\/a>.<\/p>\n
